Bathroom Roman Blinds

What soft furnishings would you recommend in a bathroom?

The one room that often gets neglected or leaves clients confused on what soft furnishings to add to the windows, is the bathroom.

I am always asked what is the best window solution to add to the window, mainly due to the damp/wet conditions of this space. Well this is an important factor to consider however the majority of bathrooms I visit have adequate extraction fitted which then helps with this issue. I think it all comes down to style, there are lots of options available such as faux wood blinds, Roman blinds, aluminium Venetian blinds, vertical and roller blinds & double roller blinds (photo below) with or without waterproof fabric options.

But for now here is a recent Roman blind (Above) I fitted in a clients ensuite, they decided on a Roman blind option as they felt the other options did not work with the look of the room and the designs of the roller blinds were not quite right for the space. So we selected a great value cotton check fabric, fitted away from the window (usually where condensation builds up and cause damp) and fitted a stainless steel chain, again so as not to be effected by the steam.

I think you’ll agree it looks fabulous!!
