Beginners Sewing Machine Workshop

Service Description

Whether you have never used a sewing machine before or are returning to sewing and want to refresh your machine skills, this workshop will give you lots of skills to enable you to confidently use a sewing machine. During the workshop, I will guide you how to set up and use a sewing machine. All equipment such as sewing machines, scissors, threads and fabric samples will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, however I do ask that you provide details of this prior to attending the workshop. During the workshop we will cover the basics of machine set up and sewing, a range of stitches, straight seams and turning corners, moving on to pinning & joining pieces of fabric together and finishing touches such as securing raw seams. All materials, equipment, tuition will be provided. Workshop cost is £70.00, a selection of refreshments and biscuits are provided. Cancellation Policy

To cancel your booking, please give at least 7 days notice, refunds will not be given when cancellations are received with less than 7 days notice. We do offer the opportunity to book on to another class date subject to availability.
